The Phantom is the pinnacle shoe in Evolv's lineup, designed in-house by their R&D team in collaboration with Daniel Woods and additional feedback from Paul Robinson, two of the most prolific boulderers in the world. This ultra-performance shoe is designed for your hardest climbing, utilizing a variety of technologies to create a powerful and sensitive shoe.

Constructed with a rubber sole and outer material, the Phantom features a hook and loop closure for a secure fit. It incorporates the Dark Spine S for structure and sensitivity, providing optimal support. The AVT plastic midsole offers sensitivity and support, while the TRAX SAS provides the best friction and maximum durability.

The Compression Closure System (CCS), a 6-point single-pull closure, ensures a superb fit. The TPS+ rubber midsole is designed for a downturned toe and arch structure. The Phantom also features Evolv's Variable Thickness Rand (VTR) system, which places thinner rand rubber in areas to reduce pressure points and hot spots, while thicker rubber in high wear zones near the toe increases longevity.

The liner is made of synthetic material, while the midsole is MX-P 1.6mm AVT and TPS rubber. The outsole is 4.2mm TRAX SAS. The profile of the shoe is downturned asymmetric, and the upper is synthetic (SYNTHRATEK VX). The Phantom is a vegan option, weighing 9oz per shoe (size 9 US men's).

The Phantom incorporates NEOFLEX technology in the knuckle box, allowing it to expand in the flex position and rebound when not flexed. This technology prevents hot spots over the knuckles and maintains performance and fit over time. The TPS+ combines the TPS rubber midsole with an extra wing for enhanced arch support. The AVT plastic midsole provides greater toe sensitivity while maintaining support and structure.

The Phantom's Compression Closure System is an advanced 6-point single-pull closure with double D-ring and hook and loop, ensuring a secure fit. The shoe also features the Dark Spine S heel, which combines the Dark Spine midsole with a thinner 2mm heel outsole for optimal structure and sensitivity during technical heel-hooking.
