The compression-molded toe box allows for our patented concave sole, increasing performance and edging with an additional inset around the toe. We've also enhanced the heel design by adding more ridges, providing improved catch edges at various angles. Not only is the Rover more durable, but it also produces 25% less waste compared to previous models.

KEY FEATURES Years after introducing our first Mad Rock rubber formula, our new Science Friction 3.0 compound marks a special milestone for our brand. Through extensive research and a new US-originating production process, we've developed a formula with distinct characteristics and improved durability. The Science Friction 3.0 compound offers higher friction, achieved by increasing tear strength and compound memory. This formula is incorporated into our 3D Hooking Heel, 3D Concave Sole, and all rock shoe soles.

Our engineers have also found a way to mold climbing-grade rubber, resulting in better adherence. Using molded parts reduces material between the foot and the rock, increasing sensitivity and grip. This method not only saves labor but also minimizes waste, making it a more sustainable approach to creating climbing shoes. Our rand rubber mix has also been improved with higher friction and durability, enhancing overall performance.

The synthetic upper material, Syn Flex, is Vegan Friendly, offering both comfort for all-day wear and performance on routes.
