Evolv Crash Pad for Climbers

The Evolv LZ (landing zone) is designed for budget-conscious climbers. It is a "No Frills" pad that prioritizes maximum performance, resembling their standard-setting drop pad. The Cap boasts a sturdy 5" thick 3-layer foam construction and a spacious 48" by 36" landing area, with no carpet square for minimalism and a minimalist carry system for easy transportation. Its focus is on ensuring safety and preventing contact with the ground. It is now equipped with adjustable and contoured backpack straps, a larger and more cushioned waistband, a sternum strap, and load lifters to redistribute weight. The addition of quick-release industrial strength metal cam style buckles ensures easy open and close, along with easy access handles for quick transportation between boulders without closing the pad. The foam structure includes 25mm (1 inch) top layer closed cell foam that goes all the way through the pad, with 80mm (3.1 inch) open cell foam bonded to a 25mm (1 inch) bottom layer closed cell foam for extra durability and pressure containment.

The suspension system features 85mm (3.3 inch) wide padded and contoured shoulder straps, a 35mm (1.75 inch) wide webbing waist belt, load lifting straps, and sternum straps. The closure is secured with G-hook and 25mm (1") Nylon Webbing. When open, the dimensions are 48"x 36"x 5" (122cm x 91cm x 12.7cm), and when closed, 24"x 36"x 11" (61cm x 91cm x 28cm). The materials used are 900d Poly and water-repellent coated fabric, with a total weight of 12lb. The pad is designed to be safe and affordable for climbers seeking a reliable landing zone.
